Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known for his role in the tv show Law & Order Special Victims Unit. In college, he began to explore the world of acting. At the University of Colorado at Boulder where he enrolled in the acting program. While he has appeared in movies and television shows, it's his roles on tiny screens have given him much popularity. He has been able to effortlessly play roles of characters who are from both sides of legal system and draw the public's fascination. He portrayed the role of one of the killers in his first television series project however he later went on take on the role in the role of a NYPD detective. The small screen performances of his were rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. The stunning blue eyes on his face are considered to be the most appealing characteristic. Also, they are regarded as trademarks, and are credited as a reason for his portrayals of characters that were tough however enthralling.
